BLOCK B - 4 WEEKS
Each Block is $4550 and each block will be required to be completed including your practical to achieve a full outcome.
32 WEEK PROGRAM - FINISHES IN AUGUST
This course will be run over 7 months with 4 blocks of online theory training starting on the 23rd of March and finishes of the 17th of April 2026.

MARH023Use of electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS) to maintain the safety of navigation
MARF035Contribute to fire prevention and firefighting (basic firefighting)
MARF037Follow vessel security procedures (security awareness training)
MARF041Observe personal safety and social responsibility (PSSR)
MARF044Prevent, control and fight fires on board a vessel (advanced firefighting)
MARF046Survive at sea in the event of vessel abandonment and personal survival techniques (PST)
HLTAID023 Provide First Aid � We currently do not offer this course however we highly recommend St Johns Ambulance. You will not only learn from the professionals within the industry but be supporting one of the best not for profit First Aid providers we have in the country.

This qualification is currently cited as meeting some of the requirements for certification by AMSA as a Master less than 100 metres Near Coastal as defined in Marine Order 505 (Certificates of competency � National law) 2022.
This qualification is required to obtain an AMSA certificate of competency as a Master less than 100 metres Near Coastal as defined in Marine Order 505 (Certificates of competency � National law) 2022.
AMSA certification of competency will require:
completing an approved program of study that meets Master less than 100 metres course at Diploma level (MAR50320 Diploma of Maritime Operations - Master less than 100 metres Near Coastal)
holding or have held certificates of competency as defined in Marine Order 505.
holding a Marine Radio Operators certificate of proficiency as defined in Marine Order 505
qualifying sea service as defined in Marine Order 505.
meeting the medical and eyesight requirements specified in Marine Order 505
having passed a final AMSA assessment
meeting any other regulatory requirements as defined in Marine Order 505.
